Evaluation for IV therapy
Intravenous therapy delivers fluids or other preparations through a vein. Whether it is appropriate depends on the reason for your visit, the products used, and your clinical evaluation. An infusion is not suitable for everyone.
Before recommending an infusion, your provider reviews your medical history, medications, allergies, and possible contraindications. They also explain the purpose of the proposed preparation, its ingredients, alternatives, and possible risks so you can make an informed decision.
If treatment is indicated and available, our team will explain the process, supervision, and related care. Please ask about costs and service terms in advance. Your evaluation may determine that another type of care is more appropriate for your needs.
